  3. The Basic Step: Start by crossing your right leg over your left leg. Your right foot should step in front of your left foot.
  4. Uncross: Now, quickly step your left foot out to the side. Your feet should no longer be crossed. This movement should resemble a side step.
  5. Cross the Other Way: Cross your right foot behind your left foot. Your feet are now crossed again, but in the opposite direction.
  6. Uncross and Repeat: Quickly step your left foot out to the side to uncross your feet. You are now ready to repeat the sequence.
  7. Continuous Flow: Practice this continuous flow of crossing and uncrossing your feet while moving laterally.
  8. Arm Action: Coordinate your arm movement with your leg movement. Your arms should move in the opposite direction of your feet. When your right leg crosses over, your right arm swings backward, and vice versa.
  9. Pace: Start slowly and focus on your form. As you become more comfortable, increase your speed.
